WHS Play Opens Friday Evening

Later this month at the UU Church - Saturday, Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m., the Firebrand Concert Series will present an evening of music from classic films. Tickets for this performance can be purchased via TicketPeak at www.TicketPeak.com/sro for $15, or $10 for Students and Seniors.

Wakefield DPW has announced curbside leaf and yard waste collections next Saturday, Nov. 23. All containers must be curbside by 7 a.m., with leaves and grass placed in biodegradable paper bags or barrels. Branches must be tied in bundles, no larger than 3 feet long and 16 inches in diameter. Wakefield’s Event Planning Committee has announced that the 5th annual “Tis The Season” Holiday Stroll will take place this Saturday, December 7, with the parade kicking off at 3 p.m. at the Americal Civic Center. Click here for full details
