Fun Run Around the Lake and Irish Music

Today is Wednesday, August 7. Here are five things worth knowing today.

Each Wednesday evening, the Mystic Runners hold a fun 5K run around Lake Quannapowitt that starts at 6:45 p.m. Registration begins at 6 p.m. in the Lakeside Room at the Clarion Inn on North Ave. 

If you like Irish music and dancing, check out Harrington’s on Wednesday nights. They’ve got Irish set dancing and a weekly traditional Irish music session on their events calendar, at this link.

Coming this Friday, Aug 16 at 10:30 a.m., Kidstock interactive children’s theater comes to the Beebe Library. The show is geared toward kids age 3 and over, free with no registration required.
