The Wakefield Health Department reports that it has a limited supply of state-supplied shingles vaccine for Wakefield residents who are insured or underinsured, 60 years of age or older. Call Public Health Nurse Karen Cronin at 781-979-4129 for more information. Flu and pneumonia vaccine is also reportedly available by appointment.

The martial arts School of Oom Yung Doe on 74 Albion Street is having a free Tai Chi seminar Saturday morning, Jan. 25 at 11:30 a.m. Click here to learn more about it.

Monday, January 27, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. is the deadline to register to vote or change your name or address  for the Special Town Meeting of February 6, 2014.  The Town Clerk’s Office will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
