The Beebe Library’s Supper Sleuths mystery book discussion group is Tuesday, September 10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the lecture hall. The group will discuss the 1938 classic “Rebecca” by Daphne du Maurier.
Diabetes Lecture: Karen Orband, R. N. will be at the Lynnfield Senior Center on Salem Street in Lynnfield to discuss diabetes, what it is and some treatments. Thursday, Aug. 29th at 12:30. Free. Please sign up. Lunch is served at 11:30 for $2.00/$3.00. You must sign up for lunch by noon the day before. Depending on interest, this will be a monthly discussion.
The Wakefield Choral Society is holding an open rehearsal Monday, September 9 at the Wakefield High School music room from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. Open rehearsals are also reportedly scheduled for Monday, September 16 and Monday, September 23.
