Plaza Jazz Concert Season Wraps Up Tonight

A look at what's coming up in and around Wakefield.

Today is Thursday, September 5. Here are five things worth knowing today.

Tonight from 6 to 8 p.m., Pistol Pete and the Smoking Guns perform out in front of the Beebe Library in downtown Wakefield, wrapping up this summer’s Plaza Jazz concert series.

The Boys and Girls Club of Stoneham and Wakefield has announced its 11th annual Walk/Run for the Club is Saturday, October 12 at 9 a.m. at Lake Quannapowitt. To learn more or to register, click here.

The Linden Tree Coffeehouse kicks off its new season on Saturday, September 21 at 8 p.m. with a performance by singer-songwriter Jack Williams. Tickets are $18, students under 13, $10. Performance are at the Unitarian-Universalist Church at 326 Main Street in downtown Wakefield. Click here to learn more.
