Open House This Weekend at Hartshorne House

Today is Tuesday, December 3. Here are five things worth knowing today.

The Colonel James Hartshorne House Association has its annual open house on Sunday, December 8 from 1 to 4 p.m., 41 Church Street in Wakefield. Stop in and have some refreshments and check out the oldest house in Wakefield.

On Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m., Jackie Strycharz, “The Cooking Librarian” will give a talk at the Beebe Library on new dishes you can make with holiday turkey leftovers.

Pottery Barn at MarketStreet Lynnfield reports that it’s having a free holiday entertaining class this Sunday, December 8 at 10 a.m. Click here to learn more.  

There’s a CD release party coming up on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Main Street for Kerri Powers and Kevin G. Moore, of Wakefield. The two are performing as part of the ongoing Linden Tree Coffeehouse series. Click here to learn more
