Bluegrass band Southern Rail performs at the next Linden Tree Coffeehouse event at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Main Street in Wakefield – Friday, January 11 at 8 p.m. Click here to learn more

At the Beebe Library coming up in January, the Supper Sleuths discuss Asian mystery books at their next meeting, Tuesday, Jan. 14 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the lecture hall. The Books by the Lake group meets Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the lecture hall to discuss The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom.

Coming up on Monday, January 6 at 6:45 p.m., the Wakefield Choral Society has an open rehearsal scheduled at Wakefield High School. The first three rehearsals on January 6,  13 and 20 are open to new members. Click here to learn more

On Saturday, January 18 at 8 p.m., Betty’s Bounce, playing music in the style of Django Reinhardt, plays at Temple Emmanuel, 120 Chestnut Street in Wakefield. Tickets at the door $15 for adults, $10 for under 13.
