Mike Angelo Scholarship Fund Established

The Mike Angelo Scholarship Fund has been established in memory of the popular Wakefield coach, news photographer and school district employee. Contributions can be mailed to The Scholarship Fund at TSF, PO Box 321, Wakefield, MA 01880. Note Mike’s name on the check.

Coming up this Sunday, January 12 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Taylor Wells, author of “Create the Best Life Ever: Real Life Stories To Get Inspired” will be at Whole Foods Market at MarketStreet Lynnfield for a discussion and book signing.

Coming up this Saturday, January 11th, the Wakefield High School boys varsity hockey team holds a food drive for the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry from 10 a.m. to noon. The food pantry is located in the lower level of the Americal Civic Center.

Local nonprofit group BKP is seeking donated children’s books to send to libraries damaged by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. If you have any books you can donate, they will be at Centre Congregational Church at 5 Summer Street in Lynnfield on Saturday, January 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For more information, click here
