Meet And Greet With The Superintendent Tonight

A look at what's coming up in and around Wakefield.

Today is Wednesday, October 2. Here are five things worth knowing today. 

A week from tonight, Cooking Librarian Jackie Strycharz gives a presentation on healthy Italian recipes at the Beebe Library at 7 p.m.

Dr. Stephen Zrike has a meet and greet scheduled for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. this evening in the Paulson Library at Galvin Middle School. The new superintendent has also been walking around the lake each week with members of the community. His next one is tomorrow – Thursday, Oct. 3, leaving at 5 p.m. from the corner of Main Street and Cordis.

You can help support the Wakefield High School cheerleaders on Thursday, October 3 by dining at the Dockside Restaurant, 1099 Main Street in Wakefield, between 6 and 9 p.m. The cheerleaders will receive 25% of dine-in and takeout sales. 

Town Meeting: Wakefield’s regular town meeting is set for November 18, 2013, 7:30 p.m. at the middle school auditorium.
