Local Nonprofit Holds Annual Dinner Dance This Weekend

Local nonprofit group BKP, which sends donated children’s books to library in the Philippines, is holding its annual Dinner Dance on Saturday, October 19 from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at the Wakefield Elks Lodge, 63 Bay State Road. To learn more about the organization, visit their website at www.bkpinc.org.
There’s a flu clinic in Wakefield on Thursday, October 17 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the McCarthy Senior Center, and Wednesday, October 23 at Galvin Middle School from 7 to 8 p.m. Vaccine is $10 for those without one of the accepted insurances. For more information call 781-979-4127.
