Local Authors Talk at Library Dec. 16

A look at what's coming up in and around Wakefield.

Today is Tuesday, December 10. Here are five things worth knowing today.

The Beebe Library has announced that Doug Heath and Alison Simcox, authors of the new Images of America book on the Breakheart Reservation, will give a pictorial presentation on Monday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. Copies of the new book will be available for purchase.

Coming up on Sunday, Dcember 15 at 3 p.m., the Middlesex Concert Band presents “Carols and Cookies,” featuring the First Baptist Church of Wakefield Handbell Choir and singer Susan Lunt. Click here for more information, including ticket prices.

There’s a CD release party coming up on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Main Street for Kerri Powers and Kevin G. Moore, of Wakefield. The two are performing as part of the ongoing Linden Tree Coffeehouse series. Click here to learn more.
