Kids Halloween Concert At Library Today

A look at what's coming up in and around Wakefield.

Today is Tuesday, October 29. Here are five things worth knowing today.

Today at 1 p.m., the Beebe Library in downtown Wakefield a children’s Halloween concert with Hugh Hanley. Bring the kids in their costumes and check out Hanley’s 60-minute “Circle of Songs.”

Tomorrow, Robin “Miss Conduct” Abrahams of the Boston Globe gives a talk at 7 p.m. at the library. She’s the author of the book “Miss Conduct’s Guide To Manners.” Click here to learn more about her.

Coming up on Monday, November 4, the Delvena Theatre Company presents “Mr. President!” at 1 p.m. at the McCarthy Senior Center, 30 Converse Street. Call 781-245-3312 to reserve your space.

Artists from Wakefield and Melrose will have their work highlighted at an art and craft show at the Beebe Estate Gallery, 235 West Foster Street in Melrose. Click here to learn more
