Holiday Stroll, Hartshorne House Open House Among Weekend Events

Wakefield’s Event Planning Committee has provided details at this link for its 5th annual “Tis The Season” Holiday Stroll. The event is this Saturday, December 7, with the parade kicking off at 3 p.m. at the Americal Civic Center. Click here for full details. 

Friday, Dec. 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the 11th annual Holiday Craft Fair is at the Unitarian Universalist Church in downtown Wakefield. Click here to learn more. 

The Colonel James Hartshorne House Association has its annual open house on Sunday, December 8 from 1 to 4 p.m., 41 Church Street in Wakefield. Stop in and have some refreshments and check out the oldest house in Wakefield. 

Do you have some new gift items that you can donate to the Wakefield Holiday Shop? On Sunday, Dec. 8 from 2 to 5 p.m., volunteers will accept gifts for local families in need from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Americal Civic Center. Click here to learn more about it.
