Dine At The Dockside, Support WHS Cheerleading

A look at what's coming up in and around Wakefield.

Today is Thursday, October 3. Here are five things worth knowing today. 

You can help support the Wakefield High School cheerleaders this evening by dining at the Dockside Restaurant, 1099 Main Street in Wakefield, between 6 and 9 p.m. The cheerleaders will receive 25% of dine-in and takeout sales.

Coming up on Saturday, October 12 at 9 a.m., it’s the 11th Annual Walk/Run for the Club, to benefit the Boys and Girls Club. Click here for more information, including registration.

Wakefield Repertory Theatre presents “Meet Me in St. Louis” this weekend. Shows are Friday, October 4 at 8 p.m., Saturday, October 5 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, October 6 at 3 p.m. 

There’s a job fair on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at MarketStreet Lynnfield for full and part time positions. Check in is at the MarketStreet welcome center.

If you missed the recent flu clinic in town, another upcoming clinic is Thursday, October 17 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the McCarthy Senior Center, and Wednesday, October 23 at Galvin Middle School from 7 to 8 p.m. Vaccine is $10 for those without one of the accepted insurances.
