Cave Explorer Talks Tonight at Beebe Library

Today is Wednesday, November 6. Here are five things worth knowing today.

On Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m., the Beebe Library welcomes cave explorer Aaron Tester for a talk about his experiences exploring the various types of caves found in Virginia, West Virginia and Kentucky and elsewhere. 

The Wakefield Chamber of Commerce holds a Business After Hours event on Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sardella Sign and Graphics, 68 North Ave. $10 for Chamber members, $20 for non-members. Call 781-245-1988 for information or to register.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan gives a program teaching seniors how to avoid becoming victims of crimes like identity theft, scams, and more. November 12 at 11 a.m. at McCarthy Senior Center, 30 Converse Street. Call 781-245-3312 to register. 

On Sundays in November, Breakheart Reservation hosts “Ranger Dan’s Nature Walks” from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The hikes reportedly go at a gentle, family-friendly pace. Meet at Dunne Visitor Center, Breakheart Reservation, 177 Forest Street, Saugus.
