Auction and Fashion Show Among Weekend's Events

The Walton Brownie Troop 75413 is having a food drive for the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. Do you have some nonperishable items you can donate between now and November 14? Drop-off boxes are at Walgreen’s on Main Street, Hart’s Hardware, Kidcasso, Eastern Bank on Main Street, St. Joseph’s Church, and Stoneham High School. More information at this link.

Wakefield DPW has announced curbside leaf and yard waste collections on Saturday, Nov. 9 and Saturday, Nov. 23. All containers must be curbside by 7 a.m., with leaves and grass placed in biodegradable paper bags or barrels. Branches must be tied in bundles, no larger than 3 feet long and 16 inches in diameter. No plastic bags accepted. Call 781-246-6301 for information.

St. Joseph’s Church in Wakefield has announced a fashion show and luncheon event this Saturday, November 9 from 1 to 2 p.m. Event sponsored by several area businesses, including Rada Boutique in Wakefield.
