Wakefield High School Theater Arts will present “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” on November 22-24. You can buy tickets at this link.

Today - Thursday, Nov. 21 from 4 to 5 p.m., the Lappin Foundation holds a Chanukah party at the Lynnfield Library. Email posher@lappinfoundation.or if you would like to attend, or call 978-740-4404.

Wakefield DPW has announced curbside leaf and yard waste collections next Saturday, Nov. 23. All containers must be curbside by 7 a.m., with leaves and grass placed in biodegradable paper bags or barrels. Branches must be tied in bundles, no larger than 3 feet long and 16 inches in diameter. No plastic bags accepted. Call 781-246-6301 for information.

Later this month at the UU Church - Saturday, Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m., the Firebrand Concert Series will present an evening of music from classic films. Tickets for this performance can be purchased via TicketPeak at www.TicketPeak.com/sro for $15, or $10 for Students and Seniors.
