Rada Frolichstein opened her first Rada clothing and accessories store in 2008, a time when most people would not take a risk during a bad economy. But, Rada explains on the Chamber Radio Show, the right move for entrepreneurs can be when there is an opportunity, and downtown Wakefield was just that opening she needed, as she describes how she not only thrived in this downtown Wakefield location she's in now, but went on to expand to a second store in Melrose in 2012. Rada tributes the Shop Local efforts and Chamber Business Community and most of all her customers during the show. She talks about the dedication it takes to serve each customer, and help them shop for value first, rehabilitating closets every season, with the end result a unique designer style which can only be called 'Rada Girl'. Rada is also known for her live models in the windows at the Wakefield Holiday Stroll and her creative contribution to other community events. She often holds receptions for her customers, speaks off site for ladies' groups and teaches them the latest look and how to leverage their investmetns in fashion.
