Woman Reports Stolen Laundry - Culprit Apparently Comes Clean

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 25.
On Friday, Nov. 23 at 10:19 a.m., a caller reported a vehicle missing from a driveway on Acorn Ave.
At 10:28 a.m., a caller reported finding a set of keys and a license while walking around Lake Quannapowitt.
At 12:27 p.m., a Crescent Street resident reported some packages stolen from the porch.
At 12:30 p.m., police took a report involving a possible theft from an employer.
At 2:20 p.m., a Farm Street resident reported hot chocolate and eggs had been thrown at his vehicle during the night.
At 2:25 p.m., police took a report of ID theft.
At 3:42 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle break-in on Union Street.
At 10:56 p.m., a vehicle was towed after the driver was found to have an expired registration.
On Saturday, Nov. 24 at 12:26 a.m., a woman reported harassing phone calls.
At 12:53 a.m. an unwanted individual was reported at the Clarion Hotel on North Ave.
At 3:04 a.m., a caller reported a man in a long blue coat walking up and down Line Road. Police gave the individual a ride back home.
At 4:37 a.m., a newspaper delivery person reported a smoldering piece of garbage in the road on Butler Ave. The fire department handled it.
At 9:20 p.m., an Orsini Drive resident reported that somebody had knocked at his door and then left.
At 11:19 p.m., a possible attempted break-in was reported on Bartley Street.
At 11:24 p.m., an Audubon Road resident reported that her laundry had been stolen from her building’s laundry room. The matter was resolved about 12 hours later as noted below.
On Sunday, Nov. 25 at 6:30 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Druid Hill Ave.
At 11:37 a.m., the caller who lost her laundry on Audubon Street the previous night reported a suspect to police and the matter was apparently resolved without further incident.
At 11:56 a.m., an accident was reported near Cedar Street and Prospect Street.
At 9:54 p.m., police arrested Jason S. Bodah, 39, 30 Hamilton Street, Saugus, for operating with a suspended/revoked license, possession of a class B drug, and for a red light/stop sign violation.
At 11:01 p.m., police took a complaint about frequently barking dogs on Greenwood Ave.
