It's not a question of which voters are undecided. It's a question of which voters are going to show up on November 6. In recent weeks, President Obama's supporters were more energized than Gov. Romney's supporters. Romney held an ever-so-slight lead among independents on crucial swing states. If the debates energize Romney's supporters, he will win the general election. He already has the support of Republicans and a small majority of Independents. They just have to show up. I would say that Romney certainly helped his cause last night.

I'm an independent and have no intention on voting for Flip/Flopper Romney. Wait until the debate on Foreign Policy. Romney has embarrased the US everytime he has gone to another country (rmember his recent 3 country tour). Maybe he should consult with Scott Brown. After all Brown regularly meets with Kings and Queens.

I voted for Obama and I am truly sorry I did. I got caught up in the excitement 1st black man pres. and all that BS, but I now see my mistake.

Obama has done nothing for me as a middle class family, My health insurance is sky high, $6,500 a year for a family plan with a $3500 deductible and that is my cost after my company pays 50%. Obamacare is not going to help me at all.

I pay my taxes and I am an honest person but it sickens me to see my fellow citizens take my money and enjoy the fruits of my labor while I get up every morning and go to work for them. I watch them use their EBT cards to buy smokes, booze, or even gamble... whatever! Things they DON'T really need!

I am glad you have come to your senses. Obama has been a big mistake and that debate exposed him and the truth. I voted for him last time but I will not make that mistake again.

Like I said before Obama has done nothing for the middle class family. My health insurance is out of this world, so bad in fact that if I am sick I second guess if I should even go to a doctor for fear I will not be able to pay the co pay or the other amounts the doctors charges me.
I see people walk into emergency rooms can barely speak English get all the medical help they need while I wait for hours or even days just to be seen and then I get the bills. Under Obama plans I pay for my medical bills and theirs, take my money (what little I have) and redistribute it.

What has Obama care done for us? nothing I can see except I pay for others now.

This country is in a serious crisis right now and no one gives a crap. Every one seems to want everything for free no one wants to do the work anymore.

I would agree with the "Dynamics" if everything was made in America. Mostly everything was made in America when Kennedy was president and alot more so than today when Reagan was president. Those Dynamics won't result in much growth with all our manufacturing being done in other countries. A purely tax cut approach now would have feeble results in respect to job creation. We just wouldn't be getting the biggest bang for the buck. A lot of the Reagan tax cuts are still in place although modified from the orignal versions, and the Bush tax cuts are still in place. Which begs the question, where is the additional tax revenue and where are the jobs?

The Bush tax cuts were the last tax you'll see for the rest of your life. They didn't pay for themselves and blew the debt to ridiculous heights. We are still coming in a trillion dollars short every year because of those tax cuts. Make no mistake about one thing, when Romney talks about tax cuts he not talking about you. You are the victim of the policies he endorses. What does it take for you to figure that out? We are not going back to Bush Wonderland based on one debate performance. Nobody's buying what Romney is selling. We have seen it all before and it just dosen't work it only makes things worse.

Hey mikbee, when our great leader Ronald Reagan took office in 1981, he cut taxes in half for All hard working taxpayers and we had an economic boom for decades which allowed the Fed to collect more tax revenue due to the millions more workers paying taxes as well as company's making more money and paying more taxes.

The great Democratic leader John F Kennedy did the same as well with simaler results.
As far as the Bush tax cuts, did we forget 9/11. This cause a recession at the time, and his tax cuts pulled us out of it. The reason the dept rose under his administration was because he never vetoed a single spending bill by congress because he wanted to show bipartinship. Not a good choice on his part.
Under Obama, the dept has increased by 500,000,000,000,000.00 because the democratically controlled senate has not passed a budget in 4 years which allows Obama to spent freely with not restraints.

Steve, after the Reagan tax cuts in 81, un-employment jumped to 10.8%. In the next 7 years, he raised taxes 7 times and increased the budget deficit by 300% at the same time while increasing the size of the government. Although it's popular to put him on a dais, he was not the fiscally responsible president that he has been remembered as.

Reagan had to scale back his original tax cuts and George Bush had to increase taxes when he took over from Reagan. They were forced to do that because of the alarming increase in the debt. The first thing Clinton had to do was to further scale back the Reagan tax cuts because the deficits were too high. Those tax cuts never paid for themselves. You want to give Reagan credit for the tax cuts, and blame the deomocrats for any increase in spending at the same time. Reagan would have had to sign off on any big spending bills. A budget is a piece of paper with numbers on it but it's worthless if Congress won't vote on it. Don't be fooled by the talk of the lack of a budget. We know we are a trillion short of a balanced budget we don't need an official budget to tell us that. All a budget would is tell us what we already know. The debt has increased under Obama mostly because the Bush tax cuts are still in place.
It's been proven that tax cuts don't pay for themselves. We just can't keep doing the same thing and expect different results. It's been tried, it dosen't work, there won't be another round even if Romney gets elected. The CBO would score the Romney plan for what it is, a budget buster. And nobody would vote for it not even Republicans.

Well said Michael. Alan, the unemployment jumped thru the roof when Carter raised the top rate to 70 percent. This also set the stage for US company's to move overseas due to higher taxation. Which still happens today because we have the highest corporate tax rate in the industrialized world and is a large part of the reason for our high unemployment rate.
Mikbee,when Reagan was building up our military, congress added wasteful spending measures to these same military spending bills dollar for dollar because if Reagan wanted to build up the milatary to collapse the Soviet Union, congress felt it could spend like drunken sailors instead of tightning it's belt.
This caused the dept and the democrats blamed it on Reagan. If Reagan had the power of a line item veto, he could have scraped this wasteful spending.
Also, the dept back then was very very small compared to the dept created by Obama. So much so that the dept Obama has created In just three and a half years, is more then all of our presidents combined.so lets quite with the democratic talking point lies!

Another reason for the exodus of jobs to other countries is the democratic parties support and encouragement of the unions. Unions once stood for fairness and protecting the rights of workers. Now they just legalized gangs strongarming corporations and stripping away profitability.

The Republican Party represents the super rich only. With the Citizens United decision they have even more money to pay for all the deceptive commercials and secure more power and wealth for the 1%. Reasonable people can see what is really going on and will vote for ALL the democrats across the board. If I'm wrong about this and the Republicans get control, we can look forward to another prop 2.5 or more cuts in education, police, and firefighter budgets.
