St. Florence's is seeking newer/older donated bikes during its Saturday electronics recycling drive to be sent to Ghana, West Africa.

Social Media Made Simple: This Friday, Nov. 16 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., the Wakefield Chamber of Commerce presents a free business ed workshop entitled “Social Media Made Simple” at the Americal Civic Center. Stop by and meet Robyn Mather, founder and chief social brand builder for A Social State Of Mind. She is also the authorized local expert for Constant Contact. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. for coffee and networking. RSVP to the chamber office at 781-245-0741.
Calling All Family History Researchers: Tonight at 7 p.m., the Beebe Library presents “Drop-In Geneaology,” for geneaology enthusiasts and others to interact and share tips.
Electronics Recycling/Bike Donations Sought: This Saturday, they’re having an electronics recycling day at St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can get rid of monitors, computer games, stereo equipment, TV sets and more. Click here for information.
That said, there’s another thing to note about this event – if you have an older/newer bicycle that you are able to donate, St. Florence’s is seeking them during the electronics recycling drive to be shipped to people in need in Ghana, West Africa.
