Wakefield resident Stacey Suntken is running her sixth Boston Marathon to help raise funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston.
If you would like to lend her a hand, she’s having a Boot Camp fundraiser this Saturday, January 26th at 8 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 131 West Emerson Street, Melrose.
Suntken, a mother of two daughters who is a trainer at Melrose Boot Camp, is running with the John Hancock Team.
Suggested donation is $10 and all proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston and also the Ron Burton Training Village.
“These organizations have a long history of fostering love, peace, patience & humility in our community. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some of the at risk teens who have been directly impacted by these programs. It changed their lives. It’s pretty awe inspiring to be part of something so meaningful – the Boston Marathon & helping inner city youth in need,” said Suntken in a note on the Melrose Boot Camp website.
