Volvo Reported Stolen From Dealership

Information provided by Wakefield Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012.
At 7:34 a.m., an accident was reported at Montrose Ave. and Whittier Road. Action Ambulance and the fire department responded.
At 10:02 a.m., a minor accident was reported on Main Street.
At 11:10 a.m., a Volvo was reported stolen from the 128 Volvo Lot. Police report that the vehicle in question is a white 2011 Volvo S80 that was being used as a loaner.
At 5:03 p.m., police investigated a hit and run at Yale Ave. and Main Street. The driver reported that somebody sideswiped his vehicle while it was parked.
At 6:28 p.m., a caller reported that a man smelling like alcohol purchase a “nip” bottle and then drive away down Melvin Street.
At 10:35 p.m., police took a vandalism report from Meriam Street.
