Various Thefts Reported On Tuesday

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, September 11, 2012.
At 9:08 a.m., a woman reported that her daughter’s car was vandalized on Salem Street.
At 11:59 a.m., a local gas station reported that an African American male in a white Acura drove off after pumping about $40 in gas.
At 12:45 p.m., police took a report involving some possibly stolen rings.
At 2:25 p.m., a Bay Street resident reported that two individuals got out of a car and walked up toward his front door.
At 4:57 p.m., a suspicious solicitor was reported on Howard Street. The individual was gone on arrival.
At 5:21 p.m., police took a report from Princess Street about a previous incident involving a woman shoplifting.
At 5:52 p.m., police took a report involving a stolen motorcycle plate.
At 6:36 p.m., a caller reported a woman acting suspiciously on Vernon Street. Soon after, police arrested Michelle C. Ryan, 35, 60 Brazil Street, Melrose, on a warrant.
At 7:21 p.m., police took a walk-in report involving a stolen iPad.
At 11:52 a.m., a Richardson Ave. resident reported that a loud banging noise was coming from an upstairs apartment and was concerned about a possible break-in. Police spoke with both parties and peace was restored.
