Two Apartment Break-Ins Reported

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, March 13th, 2013.
At 9:44 a.m. a citizen came in to report a case of credit card fraud.
At 9:44 a.m. police took a report involving larceny by check.
At 10:13 a.m. a citizen walked in to report a hit and run accident near Prospect Street and North Ave.
At 10:56 a.m. an individual reportedly suffered a broken ankle on Audubon Road.
At 12:51 p.m. a caller reported that a man in a black jacket and red hat was acting strangely on the Main Street sidewalk and may need assistance. He checked out OK.
At 1:34 p.m. an Albion Street reported coming home to find a break-in had occurred.
At 2:28 p.m. a caller reported that she had come on Bennett Street and found her apartment broken into.
At 3:44 p.m. a business owner on West Water Street reported that somebody driving an old blue ford truck with a light blue plastic 55-gallon drum in the back has been stealing scrap metal from his property.
At 5 p.m., three dogs were reported loose and causing a traffic hazard on Water Street.
At 5:08 p.m. police took a report involving a neighbor issue on Bennett Street.
At 5:44 p.m. police took a complaint about some youths skateboarding on Albion Street.
At 6:55 p.m. a sink hole was reported near a storm drain on Vernon Street.
At 7:19 p.m. an individual began to report a past assault on Albion Street but then left without further action.
At 9:35 p.m. police were informed that a black pickup truck has been dumping trash bags on the curb on trash day at an Albion Street residence. The truck owner said that trash had accidentally fallen out of the vehicle while he was driving by.
At 1:35 a.m. on Thursday, March 14th, police arrested Lucas L. Villandry, 23, 894 Main Street, Wakefield, for OUI Liquor, Negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and no inspection sticker.
