I used to respect Senator Tisei until I found out he was accepting political contributions from Lorne Buchanan. Mr. Buchanan altered a will to receive the entire equity of Mr. Joseph Ventura's estate. He has left all the siblings from this family with nothing. Not even nostagic family heirlooms. He denied to contribute to the late Mrs. Buchanan's 22 years old grandsons funeral. He will not help out on any college tuition. He took every dime but will give to the campaign contributions of Mr. Tisei. Senator Tisei is accepting money from an evil greedy man. His morals has been compromised. Not only would I not vote for him I will aggressively seek getting this man out of office for his career permanantely.

Political contributions? Please. Tierney actually helped his wife launder illegal gambling profits through a family checking account, and then threw her under the bus when the Feds came for him. How's that for morals? Good grief, get some perspective.

Instead of being rude to me you should have more of a positvie comaraderie approach. So one mistake is just good enough? Your issue is good to know and so isn't the one I commented on. If we are going to bash one another then the whole thng is futile. Good grief get some perspective? And what should that be? That his money laundering should be enough and we shouldn't disclose the fact that he is taking money from dirty hands? I can't believe what I'm reading. All knowledge is good. That is healthy perspective.

I can't vote for either one of them.

I don't know what a Democrat has to do in this state to get voted out. The fact that Massachusetts voters reelected Tierney after his wife "found" 7 million dollars really has to make you wonder.

Not that Tisei is any better, but sometimes it seems like Charles Manson could get elected in this state if he had a (D) next to his name.

Does perspective mean "aggressively" working to destroy a man's career because a donor behaved badly? If that were the only criteria, half of the Mass House would be in jail right now. No, perspective means choosing your elected officials by what they accomplish. Sadly, Massachusetts voters have for too long chosen their officials by the letter after their name, not by what they actually do. Or, in Tierney's case, what they haven't done.

Kudos to Rick for commenting with dignity. As for people who comment with aggression, anger and lack of class just makes me want to campaign for the incumbent more aggressively. Tierney will stay in office. Mark my words. As for Rick they way you worded your opinion with class is so less offensive and I can respect you opinion. When someone lashes out at an opinion they are just angry. I posted a fact about Tisei and got reamed because I was not in agreement with that other guy that insulted my opinion. Those types of comments mearly just illustrate rage and dilutes the fact.

I am thrilled to see Richard Tisei is running. He is a good man who has done wonderful things during his political career and is very approachable. I wish him all the best.

I will also disagree with the above posters and have faith that folks will not vote to re-elect Tierney. ;)
