Lawrence Andrews, third from right, a Senior Vice President at The Savings Bank and a Director of the Wakefield Chamber of Commerce, recently met with Blossoms at the Beebe committee members to discuss the Bank’s support for the upcoming Great Gatsby-themed fundraiser to benefit the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library and the Wakefield Chamber of Commerce. The Savings Bank, a major sponsor of the 6th annual Blossoms at the Beebe flower show and gala on April 27th, will sponsor the free Family Day for all ages on Sunday, April 28th, the day after the adult-only event.

The 2013 Blossoms at the Beebe will feature a Great Gatsby-theme which will include the floral displays and creative efforts of local professional and amateur florists; cocktail, wine and beer tastings; Gatsby-era music and entertainment; gourmet Hors d’Oeuvres; and a silent auction. All who attend the Saturday evening event must be 21 years of age or older. The Family Day showcases the floral displays and includes a scavenger hunt and family activities from1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets for the Saturday evening gala are $35 per person and can be purchased at the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library, or online at www.blossomsatbeebe.com. Tickets are also available at the door for $40. Sunday’s Family Day is free of charge.
