Crime: In case you missed it yesterday, there was a non-fatal stabbing and home invasion on Whittier Rd. in Wakefield yesterday. A 55-year-old man was taken to the hospital with stab wounds to his stomach. He's listed in stable condition. Police don't believe the attack was random. Here is the latest information on the incident.
Business: Tootsie's Coffee Corner is celebrating its one year anniversary today! Join them from 6-8 p.m. for three different rounds of a cupcake eating contest and for the really brave: Karaoke. Here's the article we wrote about the coffee, cupcake and gelato shop when it first opened.
Patch: It's with great sadness that I announce I am leaving as editor of Wakefield Patch. To make a long story short, I've been promoted to help lead a team of editors in the city of Boston. You can read more about this in my letter from the editor.
