Weather: Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 97 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Government: Coming up on Wednesday is the monthly edition of the Town Administrator's Report on WCAT. In each monthly edition of Town Administrator's Report Town Administrator Stephen Maio and Producer David Watts, Jr. discuss the latest issues affecting Wakefield residents. The live half-hour program is cablecast on WCAT's government channel (Comcast 16; RCN 13; Verizon 42) on the third Wednesday of the month from 7.00 pm - 7.30 pm. Viewers are encouraged to participate in the discussion by calling into the program at 781.224.0300 and asking a question or making a comment.
Children: Today at 2 p.m., middle school children can stop by the Beebe Library for Video Gaming Day in the Lecture Hall. See here for more details.
Business: The Wakefield Rotary meets today at noon at Harrington's, and the Friends of Lake Quannapowitt Yacht club meets today at 7 p.m., with toics including: environmental protection and stewardship of the lake.
