Stolen Pumpkins, A Non-Crack Smoker, And Rude Youths

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, October 24, 2012.
At 9:31 a.m., a caller said that someone sitting in a car across from a playground on Audubon Road appeared to be smoking crack. Further investigation determined the complaint was unfounded.
At 2:48 p.m., police provided advice to an individual receiving incessant calls from somebody.
At 3:01 p.m., a construction worker reportedly fell off a lift and suffered a head injury on Quannapowitt Parkway.
At 4:20 p.m., an officer sent three youths on their way who had reportedly been blocking the sidewalk on Main Street and acting rude to pedestrians.
At 5 p.m., police dispatched a group of youths reportedly bothering customers at a Main Street business.
At 5:02 p.m., police took a report involving a past hit and run in an Audubon Road parking lot.
At 5:48 p.m., an accident was reported on Water Street with no injuries reported.
At 6 p.m., police took a report involving attempted credit card fraud.
At 9:51 p.m., a caller reported that a tan Caravan in the vicinity of Orchard Street and Franklin Street was stealing pumpkins from homes.
