Police Log: Two Break-Ins And A Urinating Man

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Thursday, August 9.
At 8:51 a.m., a caller reported that somebody had thrown a rock at her car on Emerson Street earlier that morning.
At 12:05 p.m., police took a report of a past hit and run.
At 1:39 p.m., police took a walk in report of identity theft.
At 2:57 p.m., a caller reported being threatened while moving into a new apartment.
At 3:52 p.m., a Pleasant Street resident reported coming home to find a break-in had occurred.
At 4:59 p.m., police accompanied a representative from a rental company to recover some vehicles on New Salem Street.
At 6:36 p.m., a Cooper Street resident reported coming home to the scene of a break-in.
At 7:08 p.m., a motorist informed police that a man was openly urinating near Main Street and Water Street. Police later arrested Mark B. Hatch, 50, 24 Cedar Street, Wakefield, for an open container of alcohol.
At 9:08 p.m., a Shetland Road resident reported somebody ran a laser pointer through her windows. The source was not located.
At 10:08 p.m., a caller reported that a man in a tree with no shirt on was taking pictures of people. Police located the man and found that he was texting, not taking pictures.
