Police Log: Man with Warrants Turns Himself In
A Wakefield man with a warrant out of Malden District Court turned himself in on Monday.

Featured item: A Wakefield resident with an outstanding warrant turned himself in to the Wakefield Police Department on Monday. At around 12:45 p.m., police said Nathan Gillingham, 33, of 103 Vernon St. in Wakefield came to the lobby of the public safety building and told police he had an outstanding warrant out of Malden District Court for domestic assault and battery. He was taken into custody and transported to Malden District Court.
7:57 a.m. - Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Farm Street and Hemlock Road. No one was injured.
8 a.m. - Police responded to an accident on Prospect Street between two cars. Police, Fire and EMTs responded. No injuries were reported.
2:08 p.m. - A Montrose Avenue resident reported being the victim of credit card fraud. The victim told police that his debit card was used five times for a total of $562. The purchases were made at two different stores in Texas, Kroger and WM Super Center.
2:34 p.m. - A car accident was reported at the corner of Main Street and Chestnut Street. No injuries were reported.
3:43 p.m. - A caller reported seeing people inside a black Cadillac Escalade SUV circling the lake and throwing water balloons and pedestrians. The car was located and the driver was issued a citation.
4:50 p.m. - A resident of Morrison West Road reported that someone used his debit card to spend $150 in fraudulent charges at a store in Pennsylvania. Police are investigating.
8:33 p.m. - Police are investigating a report that a resident of Lawrence Street has been receiving harassing phone calls. No further information was available from police.
9:44 p.m. - Police received a call that a large dark-colored SUV was circling the lake and throwing water balloons at pedestrians. However, police were unable to locate the SUV.
