Police Log, Jan. 30: Woman to Face Court Charges for Littering

8:15 p.m. - A Saugus woman will be summoned to court on charges that she allegedly littered in Wakefield. Police said that while stopped at a red light on Water Street back on Dec. 5, 2011, they observed the driver throw a piece of trash out the window. At the time, she was given a citation, but she now be summoned to face the charge in Malden District Court.

10:35 a.m. - The owner of a 2008 Toyota Sienna reported that someone had broken into his vehicle while it was parked overnight on Meriam Street. The car had been unlocked. Taken from the car was a small bag on the front seat, which had some medical supplies in it, and $10 in cash.
10:58 a.m. - Someone found a wallet on Lafayette Street, containing cash. It was dropped off at the Police Department.
5:10 p.m. - A caller reported a car accident on Farm Street between three cars and a deer. No injuries were reported. The accident actually occurred over the Wakefield town line into Saugus.
7:18 p.m. - Wakefield Police were called to the 7-11 parking lot on Albion Street for a report of a potential domestic issue. However, police determined it was a verbal argument.
8:15 p.m. - A Saugus woman was seen by police throwing trash out of her window back on December 5, 2011. Wakefield Police said they were stopped at a red light on Water Street at Valley Street, and observed the driver throw a piece of trash out the window. The woman will be summoned to Malden District Court for littering from a motor vehicle.
8:37 p.m. - A caller reported seeing a man walking down Chestnut Street screaming and yelling in the middle of the street. Police responded and told the man to leave the area.
9:07 p.m. - An adult resident of a group home on Avon Street was reported missing since 6 a.m. As of 10 a.m. on January 31, she had not been found.
11:28 p.m. - A resident of Bartley Street reported seeing a suspicious man standing in front of an apartment building on the street. The man was described as a white male with a brown jacket, a baseball hat, and was carrying a bag. Police were unable to locate anyone fitting the description in the area.
