Police Log: Including Multiple Drug Charges, Intent to Distribute

And a domestic assault and battery arrest.

 

Notable entries from the Tuesday, July 12 Police Log:

Party reports vandalism to their car and dispute with a neighbor at 9:22 a.m. Minor cigarette burns to vehicle were found, and an officer spoke to the parties involved at Francis Ave. They will be more mindful of where they are disposing their cigarettes.

Party reported a hit and run in a parking lot at 11:11 a.m on North Ave. Further investigation will be taking place.

Derek Guertin, 21, of 193 Broadway St., Wakefield was arrested on a summons charging him with possession of a Class A drug (Heroin). 

Robert D. Tecce, 54, of 3 Spruce St., Wakefield was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug (Cocaine), drug possession with intent to distribute a Class C drug (Clonazapam), failure to stop for police, failure to drive in the right lane, and failure to signal.    

Walk-in reported a man down in the alley behind a Dunkin' Donuts location. Party stated he was just resting and had refused treatment by Action Ambulance, and the party was sent on his way.

Caller reported a dog had come out of the woods acting aggressive and coming towards people in the area at 3:15 p.m. Animal Control was notified and responded, and the owners of animal located. The animal was brought back home, and an Animal Control officer informed of owners residence.

Party reported larceny of their violin at 5:00 p.m.

After a report of a possible domestic disturbance on Salem St. Ryan Cullen, 35, of 65 Salem St., Wakefield was arrested and charged with domestic assault & battery with a dangerous weapon.
