What is with the "goon squad" at the WPD? Didn't we go through this 40 years ago, and didn't we pay out a ton of money in damages. Are they running every plate they see? Dark window tint as probable cause? Are any of the WPD certified as motor vehicle inspectors and do they know the reflectivity limits? Do they have a meter to check actual light transmission? That is the only way to determine if the windows exceed the limit. The amount of stops based on minor motor vehicle infractions under Ch90 S7 worries me

You need to check your 90/7 law. Its now up to the officer to determine if your tint is unsafe. The meter only helps in court, its not needed for probable cause of the stop nor is it needed to write the cite.
