Police Log: Bar Fight on Main Street
Wakefield Police responded to an argument between two individuals over a bar tab at a Main Street restaurant.

Police responded to a bar on Main Street around 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday morning for a report that two individuals were reportedly fighting over a bar tab. However, the involved parties were gone upon police arrival, and there was no damage done to the inside of the restaurant.
2:24 p.m. - Wakefield Police responded to a disturbance in an apartment on Bartley Street. Police had no further information on the incident.
3:34 p.m. - A caller reported seeing a group of youths smoking marijuana underneath the handicap ramp on Ballister Street. Police located the youths and asked them to leave the area.
4:55 p.m. - Wakefield Police responded to a minor car accident at the corner of Main Street and Charles Street. When they arrived, they found the drivers arguing over damage that occured in the accident. One driver said the other had sideswiped his passenger side side-view mirror and broken it. However, police said they observed that the side mirror in question had an "overwhelming amount" of duct tape, indicating it had been broken previously. A paper exchange was completed and both drivers left the scene.
7:59 p.m. - A minor car accident was reported on Chestnut Street, where one car struck a parked vehicle. No injuries were reported.
10:18 p.m. - Wakefield Police responded to Richardson Avenue for a report that a large group hanging out on a porch was causing a disturbance. The individuals were asked to go inside.
10:46 p.m. - Police received a report that 20 youths were "brawling" in the street on Albion Street. However, when they arrived, they did not find anyone in the area.
