Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, February 1 and Sunday, February 3.

On Friday, February 1 at 8:47 a.m. police took a report from a Main Street store clerk involving an ongoing harassment matter.
At 9:50 a.m. a caller on North Ave. reported some stolen instruments.
At 10:15 a.m. a woman reported identity theft.
At 11:47 a.m. some individuals were reportedly taking items from a Dumpster on Lowell Street. The items were put back.
At 3:15 p.m. a hit and run report came in from Chestnut Street.
At 3:16 p.m. a caller reported the occupants of a red Subaru with New Hampshire plates were putting trash into a Dumpster at town hall. The car was gone on arrival.
At 3:35 p.m. a mother reported that her 12-year-old son was involved in a fight at a nearby park and was now dizzy. EMTs responded.
At 5:16 p.m. a vehicle near Foundry Street was towed after its registration came up as revoked.
At 5:38 p.m. a caller from a Laundromat on Princess Street reported a man, possibly drunk, had been sleeping there for about four hours. An officer spoke with the man, who was finishing up his laundry and left soon after.
At 6:15 p.m. police issued a summons to a 47 year old Wakefield man for operating with a revoked/suspended license.
At 9:20 p.m. Lynnfield Police informed Wakefield Police that an employee of the Bali Hai restaurant had voluntarily given an intoxicated woman a ride home to Salem Street, but that she was now refusing to get out of the car. An officer brought her home without incident.
At 11:20 p.m. a caller reported a harassment issue.

On Saturday, February 2 at 1:10 a.m. a Vine Street resident reported his home was egged.
At 1:48 a.m. a caller reported a disturbance on Main Street. Police issued a summons to an 18-year-old Wakefield woman for assault and battery-domestic. They also arrested Ryan O’Donnell, 19, 644 Main Stret, for assault and battry-domestic and wanton destruction of property +$250.
At 4:31 a.m. an employee at the Clarion Inn called about an intoxicated person in the lobby. An officer drove her home.
At 6:07 p.m. a caller reported an erratic operator heading in from Stoneham on Broadway. The vehicle was spotted parked at Caporale’s Liquores and police arrested Gary W. Holland, 49, 9 Whittemore Lane, Stoneham, for OUI Liquor.
At 7:01 p.m. an officer sent a group of youths on their way after receiving a complaint about them causing a disturbance in front of a Main Street shop.

On Sunday, February 3 at 12:39 a.m., a Ledgewood Road resident reported their doorbell had been rung twice in the past hour.
At 12:42 a.m. a noise complaint came in from Bryant Street.
At 8:22 a.m. a vandalized car was reported on Main Street.
At 1:46 p.m. police issued a summons to a 32 year old Roxbury man for possession of an ounce or less of marijuana and for possession of ammunition/mace or pepper spray.
At 4:05 p.m., police arrested Kevin M. Shaughnessy, 28, 25 Wheeler Ave., Melrose, for operating with a suspended license, subsequent offense, no inspection sticker, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
At 4:10 p.m. the K9 unit found a bag of marijuana in a car on Main Street.
At 6:43 p.m. a caller reported an erratic operator. It turned out to be a road rage incident.
