Pedestrian Struck By Car In Downtown Area

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Thusday, November 15, 2012.
At 8:50 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious blue pickup truck with a cap that was slowly driving up and down Forrester Road. The vehicle was not spotted.
At 8:53 a.m., police and fire personnel responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a car near Main Street and Albion Street. The person was taken to Lahey Clinic with injuries.
At 9:41 a.m., police investigated a report of illegal trash dumping at the Forest Glade cemetery.
At 1:20 p.m., police took a report about a break-in that had apparently happened earlier in the day on Rivers Lane.
At 4:47 p.m., police took a report about a neighbor dispute where one individual apparently pushed the other.
At 4:52 p.m., a man walked in to report that an individual had stolen a pocketbook from an elderly couple on Princess Street.
At 5:19 p.m., a woman reported a man banging on her door on Melrose Ave. and that she had been receiving texts from an unknown number. A neighbor also apparently had an individual banging at the door.
At 5:53 p.m., a past break-in to a shed was reported on Woodville Circle.
At 10:58 p.m., a woman called to report that there was an irate female patron in the bar area of the Clarion Hotel on North Ave. She was allowed to stay and the matter was resolved.
