National Weather Service: 10 Inches of Snow in Wakefield

Weather expected to be more consistent with the first day of spring tomorrow.

Last night's weather forecasts were generally forecasting about 4 or 5 inches of snow in Wakefield.

However, the National Weather Service website indicates that the town ended up with 10.3 inches. Weather spotters in the area also informed the NWS that Reading got 11 inches and Stoneham got 10.

The forecast also notes that there could be some additional snow in the area later tonight around midnight, but that accumulation shouldn't be much more than an inch. Tomorrow calls for clear skies with a high around 41, added the National Weather Service forecast.
