UPDATED: Man Charged With Percocet Distribution

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, October 19 and Sunday, October 21.

At 7:45 a.m. on Friday, October 19, a caller reported an accident with no injuries at Main Street and Nahant Street.
At 11:19 a.m., a caller reported that  a man urinated on the railroad tracks near Chestnut Street. An officer spoke to the individual.
At 1:48 p.m., a hit and run accident was reported on Hopkins Street.
At 3:49 p.m., a rollover accident was reported on Route 128 South. State Police handled the matter.
At 7:15 p.m., police arrested James Patrick Lynch, 32, 68 Valley Street, Wakefield, for distribution of a class B drug, Percocets, possession of a class B drug with intent to distribute, and possession of an ounce or less of marijuana. Wakefield Police report that two detectives conducted a search of the residence with a warrant obtained from Malden District Court. They allegedly found 35 Percocet pills in a tin on the coffee table with an estimated street value of about $1,600.

At 8:18 p.m. on Friday, police dispersed a group of youths from the playground at Harrington Court.
At 8:47 p.m., police took a report of a found wallet.
At 8:48 p.m., a caller reported a suspect burglary on Sophia’s Way. The building was found to be secure.

On Saturday, October 20 at 12:12 a.m., a caller reported that a possibly intoxicated male was pulling down political signs at Broadway and North Avenue.
At 6:58 am., an officer put a manhole cover back into its proper place on Preston Street.
At 3:02 p.m. and 3:39 p.m., police took complaints about motorists spinning their tires on Water Street.
At 5:56 p.m., a fight was arrested on Lafayette Street. Police arrested a 15 year old juvenile for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a chair).
At 7:12 p.m., a caller reported being chased down the street by a gray-haired woman in jeans a blue windbreaker. Nobody matching the description was spotted.
At 7:41 p.m., police took a report of a broken apartment window on Princess Street.
At 9 p.m., a vehicle reportedly struck a pole near Walton Street and Salem Street.
At 9:14 p.m., a caller reported that somebody had smashed a 40 ounce bottle on his floor during dinner. Peace was restored with no action taken.
At 10:10 p.m., police received a report of a disturbance on Harrington Court. They arrested a 17 year old Wakefield resident on a trespass charge.

On Sunday, October 21 at 12:25 a.m., State Police informed Wakefield of a possible domestic incident. Wakefield Police arrested John Christopher Bishop, 26, 32 Locust Street, Danvers, for assault and battery- domestic and on a warrant.
At 10:16 a.m., a vandalized car was reported on Holland Road.
At 8:43 p.m., police arrested Kevin M. Ebrecht, 23, 15 Ethel Ave., Peabody, on a warrant.
At 9:21 p.m., a caller reported a man in the swampy area of Audubon Road wearing camouflage and shooting a BB gun. He was gone on arrival.
