Five Things to Know Today, Feb. 6

The Patriots lost the Super Bowl, and more things to know today.

1. Sunny, and warmer  According to the National Weather Service, today will be  sunny, with a high near 42 degrees.

2. Today in Wakefield Sports - There are no sports matchups happening in Wakefield today.

3. Boys and Girls Club Night at Dockside - Don't forget, every Monday night, dine at the Dockside Restaurant, 1099 Main St., Wakefield, from 5-10 p.m., and the restaurant will donate 10 percent of sales to the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham, Wakefield Club. You can either dine in the restaurant or order takeout. The fundraiser will be held through March 26 excluding Feb. 27. Visit www.bgcstoneham.org/wakefield for more details.

4. Post your own photo gallery! - One of the neat things about Wakefield Patch is that it's not just the editor who decides what's "news" - we also leave it up to you, the community, to share news with one another. If you're running a great event, fundraiser, or gathering for a cause, think about taking some photos during the event and posting a quick re-cap on the site afterwards. This article tells you everything you need to know, but all you have to do is visit www.wakefield.patch.com/anouncements/new to get started.

5. Defeat -  There's no worse feeling than watching the Patriots lose the Super Bowl. To the Giants. For the second time. For a game recap, go read ESPN or something.
