Five Things to Know Today, Feb. 10

Find out where it's burlesque night in town, where to support the Boys and Girls Club just by laughing, and more things to know today.

 

1. Sunny and warmer -  According to the National Weather Service, today will sunny with a high near 47 degrees. We'll take it.

2. Today in Wakefield Sports - Girls varsity basketball plays Burlington at 5:30 p.m. at home, and boys varsity basketball plays Burlington at 7 p.m. at home.

3. Let your sexy out, ladies - Tonight is Burlesque Night at Pumps Real Fitness for Women. The class will take the  aerobic and sculpting elements of zumba and combine them with basic strip tease moves to create a workout that is fun, energizing, and sexy! Just in time for Valentine's Day. 4. Laugh it up - For the Boys and Girls Club of Stoneham at their comedy night tonight at Giggles Comedy Club 517 Broadway St. Saugus, MA. A cost of $25 per person gets you all-you-can-eat pizza and a comedy routine featuring Frank Santorelli, Rocky Laporte and Johnny Pizzi. 5. Coming up this weekend - There are lots of great events happening here in Wakefield this weekend. On Saturday, there's the grand opening of Esther’s Nook, at 11 a.m., Miss Krystn's Valentine's Party at 2 p.m., the annual Citizen's Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield dinner dance, at  6:30 p.m., at Bear Hill Golf Club in Stoneham, and a night of folk ballads at the Linden Tree Coffeehouse at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 7:30 p.m.
