Driver of Wrecked Cadillac Leaves Car Abandoned on 128
The driver of a 1999 Cadillac didn't wait around for help after a one-car crash Wednesday night on 128-South. He or she cleared out and still hasn't been found.
The driver of a 1999 Cadillac wrecked on 128-South early Thursday morning, but state troopers can't find the person.
At 1:39 a.m., the Caddy was involved in a single-car crash on 128-South, just prior to exit 41 in Wakefield, said State Trooper Thomas Murphy.
The vehicle was found abandoned in the left travel lane. Police had it moved into the breakdown lane.
The registration on the car came back to addresses in Peabody. So far, police haven't been able to locate the owner of the car.
Murphy said the owner isn't necessarily the person who crashed and abandoned the car.
