Emmanuel Episcopal Church of Wakefield - located at 5 Bryant Street, Wakefield

First Baptist Church - located at 8 Lafayette Street, Wakefield, holds a meal service called Sheppard's Table on the second Sunday of each month.  Members, local businesses, individuals, other religious groups can donate food,  paper goods, cooking services or financial contributions to help feed those in need.

St. Florence Church - located at 47 Butler Avenue in Wakefield offers parishioners the opportunity to participate in the Christmas Giving Tree. The Giving Tree, which in conjunction with Catholic Charities, provides gifts such as winter clothes and toys to children and families in need.

Christmas Day, Saturday December 25, 2010 Mass, 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.


St. Joseph's Parish - located at 15 Gould Street, Wakefield has the Giving Tree Collection where parishioners remove a tag from the tree. The tag contains information regarding a gift to provide to a child or family in need. Participants then purchase and provide unwrapped gifts with the tag attached under the tree or to volunteers. Additionally, Gift Certificates and Fuel Assistance checks are also optional gifts for the Giving Tree. St. Joseph's is also collecting mittens, gloves, white cotton socks, hats and scarves for the homeless.
