Car Reported Stolen Turns Up Around The Corner

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, November 14, 2012.
At 7:51 a.m., Wakefield’s K9 assisted Everett police with a school search in that community.
At 2:13 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle in front of his house on Summer Street. It turned out to be a pizza delivery person.
At 3:41 p.m., police took a report of a stolen iPod.
At 4:48 p.m., a woman reported a lost iPhone with a GPS locator indicating it was still nearby.
At 4:53 p.m., a caller reported that a vehicle on Eastern Ave. had not been moved for about two weeks. Police determined that the vehicle was reported stolen on Nov. 10. The report may have been an accidental one since it apparently found around the corner from where it was initially reported stolen.
At 6:22 p.m., a caller reported that three males on Chestnut Street were looking into parked cars. They were gone on arrival.
At 7:34 p.m., police sent three youths on their way who had been creating a traffic hazard with their skateboards on Montrose Ave.
