Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, November 2 and Monday, November 5.
On Friday, November 2 at 9:40 a.m., a woman reported her vehicle was vandalized on Cedar Street.
At 10:41 a.m., police were informed of stolen UPS packages from a building on Audubon Road.
At 1:42 p.m., police took a report involving a past hit and run.
At 7:57 p.m., a Pleasant Street resident reported a solicitor was continuously ringing the doorbell and would not leave. He agreed to stop.
At 8:45 p.m., a possibly drunk driver on Water Street was reported. An area search was negative.
On Saturday, November 3 at 1:05 a.m., a caller reported that a car’s windshield wipers were left running and were making noise because it was not raining. Police found them operating but no longer making any noise.
At 4:29 a.m., an officer picked up two males who had been stranded near Lowell Street by another individual and brought them to the station where they got a cab.
At 11:20 a.m., a Lowell Street reported a motor vehicle break-in with a stolen GPS unit.
At 12 p.m., a case of credit card fraud was reported.
At 12:58 p.m., police arrested Robert F. Gorton, 46, 23 Little Meadow Way, North Reading, for Assault and Battery – Domestic.
On Sunday, November 4 at 1:47 a.m., Saugus Police requested a breathalyzer from Wakefield Police following an accident in that town.
At 8:25 a.m., a man came in to report having an altercation at CVS with a female shopper.
At 9:57 a.m., a woman reported her car was damaged during the night.
At 4 p.m., a caller reported a softball had just struck his vehicle on Church Street.
On Monday, Nov. 5 at 10:47 a.m., a store manager on Salem Street reported a vehicle drove over a curb and hit a parking sign. The vehicle was towed.
At 12:57 p.m., a caller reported a dispute over a pair of shoes with a local cobbler. The matter was resolved.
At 3:52 p.m., a man called about his ex-wife banging on his door. She was sent on her way.
At 4:03 p.m., a caller reported that a man appeared to be acting suspicious and taking photos at the middle school.
At 8:02 p.m., police took a report involving online fraud.
