A Stolen Gold Rope Necklace and 'Dumpster Divers' Reported

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, February 4, 2013.
At 9:55 a.m. a student at the vocational school reported the theft of an 18 inch gold rope necklace.
At 9:57 a.m. a student at the vocational school reported the theft of basketball shoes from the boys locker room.
At 11:49 a.m. police took a report involving harassment.
At 11:56 a.m. a caller reported a case of “dumpster diving” on Lowell Street involving people driving a truck marked “metal works.” The individuals were identified and sent on their way.
At 12:32 p.m. the fire department was notified of a working truck fire near Magnolia Terrace.
At 2:42 p.m. a syringe was reported found on the back wall of a parking lot on Main Street.
At 3:28 p.m. fire and rescue personnel responded to a two-car crash in the 128 rotary.
At 5:05 p.m. a caller reported misuse of her credit card.
At 5:34 p.m. a man reported his wallet was stolen at the Sheraton Colonial.
