A Restraining Order Violation And A Pot Plant

Information provided by Wakefield Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Thursday, January 24th.
At 7:40 a.m. a caller reported a smashed driver’s side car window on Madison Ave.
At 9:38 a.m. a two-car accident was reported on Water Street.
At 10:16 a.m. police were informed of parts stolen from a truck on Bay State Road.
At 12:46 p.m. police took a report involving harassment.
At 2:27 p.m. detectives responded to Walton Street to investigate a break-in.
At 3:58 p.m. a caller reported a break-in on North Ave. where the front door had been damaged.
At 6:18 p.m. a verbal altercation was reported on Charles Street.
At 6:30 p.m. a Charles Street resident reported being threatened by an upstairs neighbor.
At 10:58 p.m. a caller reported loud noises on Chestnut Street and a neighbor’s dog running around the yard upset. Police put out a BOLO alert for a Wakefield man in connection with a restraining order violation. During the incident, police also came across a marijuana plant allegedly being grown in a residence.
Police issued a summons to a 38 year old Wakefield man for cultivating/manufacturing marijuana and for possession, subsequent offense. They also issued a summons to a 44 year old Wakefield man for violating a 209A abuse prevention order, assault and battery to intimidate with bodily injury, witness intimidation, and cultivating/manufacturing marijuana.
