A Mystery Man At The Door And A Stolen Composter

Wakefield Police respondd to these and other calls for service between Friday, December 28 and Sunday, December 30, 2012.
On Friday, Dec. 28 at 8:32 a.m., police responded to a report of an accident with no injury near Main Street and Crescent Street.
At 9:07 a.m., a woman reportedly fell on the ice on Ballister Street. The fire department and Action Ambulance responded.
At 10:42 a.m., an erratic operator in a blue Dodge Durango was reported on North Ave. The driver was not found.
At 12:24 p.m., police took a report of a past hit and run.
At 1:39 p.m. a woman reported that her son was home alone on Lowell Street and that an unknown man had run the bell several times. He was gone on arrival.
At 4:54 p.m., an erratic operator was reported near Water Street. The driver was not located.
At 6:54 p.m., a woman called to report that a vehicle had struck her boyfriend’s arm while in a crosswalk near North Ave. and Albion Street. Police spoke with a delivery driver who maintained that the man had actually punched the vehicle. The matter was resolved without further police action.
At 9:47 p.m., a caller reported that youths in dark clothing had placed an object in the road near Prospect Street. They were gone on arrival.
At 10:07 p.m., a caller reported that his neighbor was banging on the wall and yelling racial slurs at him. The matter was resolved.
On Saturday, Dec. 29 at 1:26 a.m., police issued a summons to a 27 year old Peabody man for operating with a suspended license.
At 2:14 a.m. a caller reported suspicious vehicles driving on Jackson Lane.
At 11:59 a.m., police took a report of a past hit and run accident.
At 12:52 p.m., a caller reported another vehicle struck a parked vehicle on Main Street and drove away. Investigation found damage to the vehicle’s side mirror. Police in Lynnfield, where the offending vehicle was traced to, were expected to contact the driver.
At 10:29 p.m. an accident was reported at Lowell Street and Vernon Street.
At 10:30 p.m. a woman on Salem Street reported her neighbor had threatened to kill her. Police issued a summons to a 26 year old Wakefield woman for threatening to commit a crime.
On Sunday, Dec. 30 at 11:09 a.m., a caller reported a bin composter stolen from a front yard on Lowell Street.
At 4:31 p.m. police issued a summons to a 48 year old Stoneham man for operating with a suspended/revoked registration, uninsured motor vehicle, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
At 8:20 p.m. police issued a summons to a 30 year old Lynnfield man for operating with a revoked/suspended license, operating with a suspended/revoked registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
