3,000 Ride Through Area for Wounded Veterans

About 3,000 motorcycles rode through Wakefield this weekend on their ride to Suffolk Downs during Boston's Wounded Veteran Run.

On Saturday morning, several thousand motorcycle riders set out from the Boston Harley Davidson on the Revere Beach Parkway and went 40 miles through 10 area towns to help raise funds and awareness for wounded veterans.

Thanks to David Watts Jr. for sending in these photos of the riders taken as they passed through the Greenwood section of Wakefield on their way to Suffolk Downs by way of Lynn and Revere.
